Falcons vs Saints set for Monday Night Football in New Orleans

Atlanta and New Orleans meet at the Superdome with both teams seeking to break out of a 1-2 start in the NFC South.

The Atlanta Falcons visit the New Orleans Saints at the Caesars Superdome on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 p.m. Eastern time on ESPN. Both clubs enter the Week 4 falcons vs saints matchup with 1-2 records in an early tie for first place in the NFC South.

Shough threw for a career-high four touchdowns on 29-of-42 passing for 255 yards in a 35-27 loss to Las Vegas last week. His primary target, Chris Olave, has caught 27 passes on 36 targets for 375 yards and one touchdown, clearing 100 receiving yards twice.

They face an Atlanta secondary that surrenders 263 passing yards per game, the third highest mark in the league. Atlanta has broken up 17 passes through three games but has recorded only one interception.

Atlanta ground game and London

Atlanta comes off a 35-14 victory over Green Bay behind quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Running back Bijan Robinson carried 29 times for 194 yards and two touchdowns in that win, adding 19 receiving yards. Robinson has 349 rushing yards and three total touchdowns on the year, pacing an Atlanta ground attack that ranks second in the league at 173.0 yards per game.

Falcons wide receiver Drake London also recorded a career-high 194 yards on nine catches against the Packers, including fourth-quarter gains of 68 and 40 yards. London has 15 catches for 274 yards on 20 targets through three weeks.

They face a New Orleans defense that has surrendered 83 points this season, the fifth highest total in the NFL. The Saints have logged seven sacks but are tied for 25th with one interception. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and streamed on ESPN Unlimited through the Fox One and ESPN bundle.
