According to AllThingsD, Apple will release their next version of iPad, iPad 3 in March, 2012 in San Francisco. But they not confirm the release date yet.
Although, Apple not confirms what would be the features of iPad 3, but rumor suggest that Apple iPad 3 contains powerful processor and Retina Display facilities.

-Faster chip than iPad 2
-Graphics processor
-2048×1536 Retina Display
-A6 processor
-Wi-Fi
-Embedded GSM/CDMA/LTE
Now it’s depends on time that when Apple release their iPad 3 on market. Whatever the release date is Apple iPad 3 face contests with Microsoft’s tablet which loaded with Windows 8.
