The Art Institutes and Americans for the Arts announce poster design challenge

The Art Institutes, a system of more than 50 schools that is providing hands-on education in the creative and applied arts, together with Americans for the Arts, nation’s leading nonprofit for advancing the arts and arts education, announced that the deadline for entries of the 2013 Poster Design Competition is January 31, 2013.

At the end of the challenge, tuition scholarships worth more than $100,000 will be awarded to the authors of the best submissions.

There will be two different categories for contestants – high school seniors and high school graduates, and there will be individual prizes in each of them. Eligible are at least 16 year old U.S. and Canadian citizens (with the exception of Quebec) who are studying or have graduated from schools in the United State of America, Canada or Puerto Rico.

The theme for the art competition is “You Can Create Tomorrow” and the official rules by the Art Institutes can be found on their website at www.AiCompetitions.com/poster.
