There has been recent news that a California father took his own life before murdering his 7 years old child. Everyone seems to get in shock after getting to know this news they all started to go over the internet to know more about it. According to the authorities, this case seems very similar to the part of a murder-suicide. At their residence in the upscale Los Angeles suburb of Thousand Oaks on Tuesday night, Blaine Paddock and his young son, whose name has not been published, were discovered unresponsive, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
According to authorities, a man called 911 just before 7 p.m. to report a probable suicide at a house in the 2300 block of Chiquita Lane. Inside the house, Paddock and his young son were both lifeless when deputies arrived. The father was declared dead on the spot by emergency personnel. At Los Robles Regional Medical Centre, where he was later confirmed dead, his child was transferred there. After conducting an autopsy on the father and kid, the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled that strangling was the child’s cause of death. The medical term for a hanging, ligature strangulation, is how Paddock passed away. It was determined that he committed suicide.
At Paddock’s residence, detectives from the sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit carried out a search order. What they discovered and if the father had written a suicide note were not disclosed. According to investigators, there are no other suspects in connection with the murder-suicide. An instant motive was not immediately known.
