The celebs predictably brought their A-Game on, fashion-wise at the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards went down live on May 6, 2023, at the Grand Arena inside the Accra International Conference Centre.
As was largely expected, Black Sherif won the esteemed Artiste of the Year award to cap off his extraordinary year in the musical year.
He replaced KiDi, a star of Lynx Entertainment, who won Artiste of the Year at the 23rd annual ceremony of the Awards in 2022. Prior to the start of the program, traditional red carpet-showmanship took centre stage.

Osebo the Zaraman

Black Sherif was crowned VGMA24 Artiste of the Year. He beat stiff competition from his closest rival, Piesie Esther who had been tipped as a likely candidate for the ultimate prize, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, King Promise, Camidoh, KiDi, who is the reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year, and Joe Mettle.
Tagoe Sisters
The seasoned gospel artistes, who collectively have over 40 years of experience in the music business, donned an all-black ensemble that evening. On stage, they also gave out an award.
Wesley Kesse

Her name is Rebbeca Abraham, second runner-up at Miss Malaika 2022 edition.
Abiana’s full name is Eldah Naa Abiana Dickson. She is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter. She is a Soul-life, Hi-life, Neo Soul musician. Abiana was adjudged the Best Female Vocal Performance award during the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
