Sydney Taylor was born on 12th November 2002 to Dan Wilkinson. She is Caucasian. Taylor’s ethnicity made her the perfect actor to portray Amelia, an ‘All-American’ girl who attracts the attention of the main character, Jin. 

She grew up alongside her brother, Colin Wilkinson, in Tennessee. On 11th April 2018, Taylor posted Instagram snaps of her and Colin through the years. “Happy Sibling day, brother. Love you,” Taylor captioned the post.
